INFORMIX-DataExtract works in conjunction with Sterling Software'sAnswer/Extractor to allow UNIX computer users to extract specific subsetsof mainframe data in a timely fashion. DataExtract retrieves data from awide range of mainframe databases and file systems into an INFORMIX-OnLine database or ASCII files. This provides users and applications withseamless access to corporate information without the need to involve MISpersonnel.
